Myers Horse Farms Inc. is a small horse breeding operation located in Ashland, Ohio, halfway between Cleveland and Columbus. The land is rolling. It has beautiful views of corn fields & woods with lots of Maple trees that are spectacular in the Fall. Ann & Phil Myers, moved there in 1982. They thought it was a perfect setup. It had a two bedroom house and an eight stall barn. Not much house to clean (very important!). The barn was plenty big??.they came with three horses. This was their first time to live on a farm. Ann was in heaven and wanted to raise a few foals. In 1983, their foal crop totaled one. By 1985, they had a foal crop of six. One of the six was a colt that they named, Zips Chocolate Chip. Zips Chocolate Chip moved to Texas in 1987 and left his small farm behind. Since then, Myers Horse Farms has grown, but, not a lot. They added an indoor arena, more barn for storage and, now, they have nine stalls. Including their 2004 foal crop, Myers Horse Farms has raised 147 foals. For a small breeding operation, they have a lot to brag about. Visit the website to learn more!
