Our Friday Focus Luncheon Series is designed to cover specific topics relating to the workforce and the community you do business in. Professionals offer their insight in a meaningful way so that you can use that information to stay informed.
In addition to our smaller events, the Chamber offers five major events during the year. Celebrating Women in the Workplace is a luncheon that focuses on women and the role they play in the workplace. This is a great event to reward the ladies in your office with a lunch out. Our Annual Member Awards Banquet is an opportunity for us to reward our members for their outstanding business practices. This is the time to show appreciation for your employees and all their hard work. More than 500 people attend this event each year. Our Annual Golf Outing provides a fun day away from the office, and a chance to network with fellow employees, clients and friends. Another great outdoor event is our Fall Chamber Shoot-Out. For those who are hunters and gun enthusiasts, this is a great opportunity to show off your skills!
To wrap up the year, we hold our Annual Meeting. This is a time for you to learn about all the Chamber is doing. Three awards are given out (Spirit of the Chamber - Corporate/Individual, and The Jim Lingenfelter Service Award) to those who have demonstrated leadership in volunteerism, energy, creativity and giving. Additionally, they have been dedicated to keeping strong our traditions, while at the same time taking risks to make a difference in the community. The Chamber also loves to celebrate current member businesses through our Business Open Houses. This allows other members and the community to visit their facilities, meet their staff and learn about the products and services they provide. We also host Ribbon Cuttings and Ground Breaking Ceremonies for new businesses and those relocating. These events are free and open to the public. Watch the Chamber's Calendar of events for more details. To see a full listing of all the 2016 events, CLICK HERE.
