2012 Global Target program - presented by Cleveland State UniversityA new class now forming for Cleveland State’s Global Target Program.The group is designed for new to export, small and medium-size businesses who seek guidance in “going global”. This one-year program pairs novice exporters with seasoned experts and is slated to begin in March 2012. The curriculum includes faculty-led market research, mentoring by local exporters, guest speakers on international business topics, as well as counseling by the U.S. Commercial Service. A Gold Key Service (pre-screened meetings in country with 4-5 potential foreign buyers) is subsidized by FedEx and included in the price of tuition.

NEW - Applications for the Ohio International Market Access Grant for Exporters (IMAGE) are now being accepted.
IMAGE is a program funded by the State of Ohio and the U.S. Small Business Administration as part of the National Export Initiative to double U.S. exports by 2015. The program is designed to increase exports and create jobs by helping small companies to promote their products and services in new international markets. Qualifying Ohio businesses can apply for financial assistance to help cover the costs of export-related activities such as: international trade show participation, subscription to services provided by the U.S. Commercial Service, marketing and translation services, and international trade mission participation.
